Gah! 🥹😠This Psalm! 💗 And verses 5-8, then 11-12! Whew!
It starts off by standing in ABSOLUTE STILLNESS until we hear from God. How often do we move too quickly out of that place between praying and hearing Him; pleading for help and seeing Him move; talking at Him without the expectation of experiencing His presence…for however long it takes? Is it Him we want, or just to be heard?! Is it His face we seek or just the answer to our requests? Hard questions we don’t always like the honest answer to.
But it is Him ALONE who keeps us safe. Not other people. Not our circumstances. Not the outcomes. It’s just HIM and ONLY HIM. HE is our portion and our prize! HE is the pearl of great price. HE is the ONLY ONE found worthy to open the scroll. HE is the goal our eyes should be set upon and our hearts should long for…HIM and HIM ALONE. In HIM there is NO RISK OF FAILURE! If we abide IN HIM, remain in HIM, wait AS LONG AS IT TAKES…there is no way we can go wrong! We may not like the timing. We may not like the way the answer looks. But in every moment, with every problem. HE NEVER FAILS. He IS ALL the strength, power, and love we need! It is found IN Him and it flows FROM Him. Selah! 🙌🙌🙌
